About Kristin Reinhard

I’m Kristin Reinhard, a freelance writer and photographer living in Zug, Switzerland, with roots in Brisbane, Australia. My work explores everyday beauty — from quiet streets and seasonal rituals to the details that shape culture and place.

For more than 24 years in Switzerland, I’ve built a practice that blends Australian openness with Swiss precision. My days start with coffee - always coffee - and a walk with my labradoodle Bronte, with my camera and notes app close at hand for the next idea. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me listening to a podcast, running along the lake, or cooking for my family of five.

My work spans editorial features, brand storytelling, and photography available for licensing or commission — with many images available for licensing as stock photography. Alongside my freelance practice, I founded z’Nüni Press, a platform sharing essays, guides, and photography about Swiss culture and expat life.

Alongside my commissioned work, I publish The Image Desk — a weekly newsletter sharing fresh, licensable images from my archive.
